Polyurethane on Polyolefin Wheels

Polyurethane on Polyolefin wheels are a popular non-marking choice in countless industrial and specialized environments. These wheels are composed of injection molded polyurethane treads which are mechanically bonded to a polyolefin core. The polyurethane tread is molded in around and through a ribbed extension of the wheel core to help prevent tread debonding. Poly on poly wheels are easier rolling on hard smooth surfaces than softer rubber tread wheels. These wheels can withstand exposure to many different chemicals, solvents, water, and acids. They are also available in many different color options: Black, Blue, Gray, and Red.

They are especially designed for use in Research Laboratories, Hospitals, Food Service, Schools, Bakeries and other Institutional applications. Poly on Poly wheels are also commonly used in industrial applications which do not involve shock exposure, weight overloading, abuse, or poor floors. Standing loads can cause these wheels to flat-spot overtime. Which is why we do not recommend they sit in storage under heavy loads for a long duration of time. The Polyurethane on Polypropylene wheel is a very attractive all-purpose wheel which is versatile and stylish. These are fantastic wheels for many applications and can drastically help you improve your cart rolling performance in the right environments.
